一个让人头痛的尼日利亚客户

对待这些人是要提高警惕的。
我这个只email两次,发了一个产品的图片,他就说我们的产品都要,马上就要来visit.让人很头痛啊,我冷落他一下,就没有联系了。
以下是我和他的email:
第一次是他从Asianet发来的,
My name is Dr. John Zullo, i have just read about your company and products, but first let me introduce our company to you. Our company is Hopastine Limited incorporated in Nigeria, we have been in existence since 2002. we are suppliers to some private and government parastatals and institutions and it will be our pleasure to enter into a good business rapor with your company for supply of electronic security systems for we have just won a contract from the government to supply to a newly estate in Nigeria to supply them security alarm electronic security systems, The auto-pan camera. Could you please confirm to us if you can supply goods complying with the international standard. In this regards, we solicit you see that the goods you are selling to us are of good standard. Yes, I am happy i finally got your company for the contrat we got from our government of the supply of this your products for the newly estate.
I want you to assure us that all these products are of international standard, hope they are not fake products and you know our company is a trading company Representatives and Buying Agent's.
I will tell my boss to contact you, and to let you know we need these security products like Home Security Systems and alarm sensor, and also The auto-pan camera before the end of this year because they want to lunch this newly estate by january, any way my boss we call you today his name is Mr. Akeem Anifowoshe our director Hopastine Limited.

I want to confirm if you have any company that has bought from you before in Nigeria so we can visit because i want to confirm about your products very well before making order.

这就要来中国了.大家看正常吗?

I don't think this shows anything! From the mails between your customer and you, everything seems ok, and it is not surprise that he want to come to China to visit you. Most customer would do this if he really wants to do business with you. I also have customer in Nigeria, we cooperate well with each other for three years. How can judge a customer's sincerity only by
his request of coming to China?

我遇到的和楼主类似,根本没跟我谈过产品和价格。从我给他发完报价之后就开始要免费样品,免费样品好不容易不谈了又说要申请准备过来。我觉得9成9是骗子。

为保护您的利益,您在遇到来自尼日利亚等西非国家的邮件时,注意是否有以下几种情况:
1)邮件的中心内容与从尼日利亚或其他非洲国家设法转出的一笔巨款有关。由于当地政府对这笔巨额财产要征收高额税,他需要转入您名下的国外账户来逃税。为了感谢您的帮忙,事成之后,他愿意付您可观的酬劳。除此之外,信上还会附上这笔钱目前所在尼日利亚银行的账户号码,鼓励你去核实。如您表现出对此事的兴趣,他会接着问您索要手续费等。这类邮件是典型的尼日利亚骗局,它是一种起自二十世纪八十年代的、十分典型的网络骗子的行骗手法,因缘于尼日利亚而得名。设局者利用网民在网络营销中急欲成交的心理和金融知识匮乏的情况来设局骗财,所以请大家务必小心,不要上当。
2) 利用我国一些公司对国外招标程序不太熟悉的弱点行骗。在电子邮件中以西非国家共同体、其他地区经济组织和政府采购的名义进行国际招标,以优惠条件吸引中国公司投标。随后便要求投标公司先期支付一笔这样或那样的费用。有的则以官方机构名义,邀请国外公司来商洽签订"政府采购合同",以高价求购货物,骗取一些公司的信任。诈骗分子随即要求他们提前支付手续费。当大量手续费诈骗到手后,就没了下文。
3)初次接触,在收到出口方首轮报价之后,国外客户对价格及产品规格指标没有提出任何异议,即允诺大定单,要求出口方提供形式发票。接着,以办理政府批文,或在卫生部注册为由,要求出口方先期支付这笔费用。在出口方支付之后,客户即石沉大海,杳无音信。
4)客户以支票或远期汇票形式支付定金,然后要求出口方立即出运,由于票据需要托收,银行在托收不成功或发现票据系伪造的,往往已经迟了。
5)初次接触之后,即要求出口方提供来华的邀请函,目的是利用国内企业发邀请函,其实并无采购或拜访企业的真实意图。我们建议对不熟悉的客户不要发邀请函,以免他们在华有违法行径时影响到企业的声誉。
虽然有这样那样的骗局和欺诈行为存在,但客观地说,尼日利亚仍是个大市场,关键是我们在和尼日利亚人做生意时要根据尼日利亚的特点,严格遵守游戏规则,采用对自己有利的贸易方式,那么产品销到尼日利亚市场的前景仍旧是十分广阔的。以下建议一些和尼日利亚人做生意的注意事项:
1)客户委托尼日利亚任何银行开出的L/C,我们一定要求必须要经过第三国且资信佳的银行保兑(如汇丰银行、花旗银行、渣打银行等),没有经过保兑的L/C坚决不收。
2)有的客户以尼日利亚银行不能T/T大额外汇为由,千方百计的要求和你做D/P的条款,你不要答应,在尼日利亚汇往境外的大额外汇是不受限制的。而且尼日利亚有的银行资信不佳,采用D/P的支付方式,银行可能和客户勾结,在客户没付货款的情况下放提单而使我们的企业蒙受损失。
3)当客户只T/T了部分货款,要求你发货后再给你T/T全部余款以赎取正本提单时你一定要注意,发货后给客户传真付本提单时要将提单号、集装箱号涂黑,因为在尼日利亚,海关和客户勾结只凭提单传真件上的号码就可以将集装箱提走的事情时有发生。
4)对来中国的尼日利亚客户不要过分的热情,在华的费用一般要他们自己承担,同时要婉言拒绝他们提出的索要高挡物品和借钱的要求。不要担心生意做不成,只要你卖给他的商品他觉得有利可图,你们的生意是可以做成的。
5)支票或汇票在银行托收成功之前, 不要出运货物。以防在货物出运后再发现托收不成或票据系伪造时,出口方陷于被动。
总之,我们和尼日利亚客户打交道的时候,要擦亮眼睛,既不要被骗,也不要因为个别欺诈行为的存在而对整个尼日利亚市场失去信心,只要遵循国际贸易的惯例,采用对自己有利的安全的方式,不心存侥幸心理,一定能在贸易中始终处于主动。
非洲场确实颇大,骗子亦多,坚持立场,不要心软。
或可透过其他出口信用局调查该客户信用度,
兼是否接受购买保险。如该局接受的话,T/T D/P
都有点保障,假若出问题,该局会赔偿大部份货款。
一切请小心为上策。

我有个尼日利亚客户,也知道我对他无热情,就许诺一定会买.然后就要求我们寄样品给他研究,运费他出.样品费加到以后的定单量里去.MY GOD!我们一台机器五六千美金!这种骗法太显眼了.
