Nothing can you get before you do it. I think both choice are ok and you are lucky(I think you may still a college student) as long as you can get a job offer from a factory or market,esp in the period of economy slump. But as a freshman in a new working place you need patience,endurance and working hard. Wish you are success in 2009.

This will determined by your aim and target or your interest.
you 'd better select what's you interested in. (i.e. market and factory.)
you may change jobs other than your first job.
Either work in market or Factory, your final aim is to Enhance your experience and value.
you can select the best value added task and job at this moment.
after you was value added, then moving forward.......
