Hi, I am a Canadian immigrant from China, I am here to recommend several readings to improve your English skills,
Part 1, Grammar Recommendation
For beginners, you are recommended to read the following to improve your grammar
Understanding and Using English Grammar -----> Publisher: Pearson
The above book is used as a textbook in various ESL institutions in Canada, and some high school would also use this book for their English classes. This book is recommended for people who have never or almost never touched on English Grammar.
For medium level learner, you are recommended to read the following to improve your grammar
Fundamentals of English Grammar -------> Publisher: Pearson
This book is recommended for people who have learned English grammar for at least 1 year. This book contains the knowledge about English grammar needed to finish ESL in North America.
The above textbooks are the most widely used English Grammar books for ESL students in Canada, which are equivalent to grade 9 English grammar in N.A.(2nd year in Chinese high school).
I will upload the textbooks used here to improve vocabulary skills later.

Beginner - Medium
"Improving Vocabulary Skills by Sherrie Nist and Carole Mohr"
In Canada, most of the institutions, including public and private schools, use the above textbook, once you have mastered the book, there is no need for advanced learning of English, it will cover all the conventional vocabularies that you need.
In case you need advanced learning
"Advancing Vocabulary Skills by Sherrie Nist and Carole Mohr"
There are several editions to the textbooks by this author. When it gets to advanced, most people will not even this those vocabulary in conventional uses, not even in University.
