Description
1. The Amhara National Regional State TVET Promotion agency Lapidary Project Office invites all eligible bidders to submit sealed bids for the supply of Procurement of LAPIDARY MACHINES and Equipment and Materials for Woldia and Kemissie Training Institute/Colleges.
2. Bidders both International or local should provide copies of relevant and valid documents-Local bidders need to submit license valid for the year 2007/2008 VAT and TIN Registration Certificate and evidence indicating that the bidder has performed tax paying obligations from Federal or Regional Inland Revenue.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from ANRS TVET Promotion Agency lapidary Project Office and inspects the bidding document at the address given below from Monday to Friday on work hours.
4. A complete sect of bidding document may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written a application together with document indicated on number 2 above upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Eth. 200 or its equivalent in freely convertible currency to the finance services of Bahir Dar TVET Colleges in cash CPO or Cheque.
5. Bidding will be conducted through ICB (International Competitive Bidding) Procedure and is open to all eligible bidders. Bid evaluation and award of contract shall be on package bases Therefore, bidders have the option to bid for one or two packages the delivery places or sites of goods or equipment are Woldia and Kemissie colleges/Institution.
6. Bid shall be valid for a period of 45 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the total bid price in the form of certified cheque CPO or a Bank guarantee and must be delivered with the bid document together with copies of documents on number 2 above to the address given below on or before 2:00 P.M. 27, February 2008.
7. Bids Shall be opened in the Presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 P.M. 27 February 2008 at the conference Room of Bahir Dar TVET College. Late bids will be rejected.
8. The ANRS TVET promotion Agency lapidary Project Office reserve the right to accept or reject all or part of bids.
